Subtitling and audiovisual translation are constrained disciplines. The subtitle must convey the meaning of the spoken text within a character limit and reading time that the dialogue may exceed. The solution is not to cut meaning arbitrarily; it is to compress intelligently, preserving what matters in the time available.

Subtitle files are delivered in the formats you specify: SRT, VTT, STL, EBU-TT, or others. Dubbing and lip-sync script adaptation is a different discipline from subtitling. The translated text must match the rhythm and mouth movements of the original performance as closely as possible while remaining natural in the target language.
